Just when I resumed swimming a few weeks ago, the swim complex is gonna be closed for maintenance, starting 1 Mar. 

Supposedly to end 31 May, but just heard that this date might not be confirmed. 

Sad.  There goes my weekly swimming and my Mcdonald breakfast…. 

Swimming allows me to relax alot, stop my overthinking.  I just have to concentrate on my breathing and aim to reach the other side of the pool…. 

Sunday = Swimming

Almost couldnt go swimming today.  Yesterday night was tossing and turning in bed - couldnt really sleep and slept quite late.  

Luckily managed to wake up early.  Prepared and went swimming.

Mcdonald breakfast after swimming.  Feeling satisfied and contented.  

Actually I think I feel quite contented easily. And I am not greedy.  Sometimes just thinking why I do not have 爱情的幸福。。。

This laksa costs $2.50 per bowl.  Cheap and good plus the cockles are real fresh! 

Lost and Found…. 失而复得

Something I think amazing happened today. 

I had Tarrin made the life pendants for my family members and the life pendants arrived early this year.  Then followed by the super long shipping of the 五色线 that I ordered online. 

Finally the 五色线 arrived and we started wearing the life pendants. 

As usual this morning, my dad wore the pendant and went for his usual breakfast. After breakfast, he went buy 4D, NTUC and bought lunch back.  

Realised that his pendant was missing when he reached home and was getting ready to bathe.  His pendant had slipped off because the knot on the string had loosen! 

He then went 1st round to search - only back to the place where he bought the lunch from. 

He then came back home, bathed and ate his lunch.  But he didnt give up - decided to go back to the places he went in the morning.  

And he actually managed to find it back!  Below at the chair where he sat for his breakfast in the hawker centre!  

OMG!  I found it so amazing that he managed to find it!  After that few hours.  And after the lunch peak hour somemore. 

Anyways I find this very amazing. 

Still glad that he managed to find it.  If not, I would have to spend money again…..

Asked for 汤圆 today. 

The 15 days of CNY is over, just like that. 

No visiting, no gatherings this year.

Redeemed the Rediscover Voucher for Gardens By the Bay.  Surprise!  There was Shake Shack!

Very nice Shrooms Burger.  Ice cream and Float was also good! 

Nice to get away and feel touristy at times

初六 - 六六大顺

Went to temple to pray. 

In the past, we used to go to the temple to pray every 初二 before we go Auntie house at Bedok.  

Today suddenly remembered to go temple to pray and so we went.  Glad that we went….. 

Exercise - swimming… after a long time

Finally exercise again.  My favourite is always swimming.  

Woke up this morning.  The sky was cloudy, thought it was just cloudy.. But realised it was raining when I reached downstairs.  Nearly wanted to go back home but decided to go and see if I can swim…. 

Drizzling, no lightning alert and hence the pool was opened.  The water wasnt cold and yeah I managed to swim!!

Went to buy Mcdonald breakfast thereafter.  

A cup of nice coffee after exercise is pretty shiok! And the feeling of waking up early is nice too!  I feel The day is long and I can do alot of things etc…

新年快乐

Feb.  Chinese New Year is over. 

Same as last year, we didnt go visiting. Felt abit lonely because the usual television shows weren’t on too. 

Felt tired at work. Was also very busy Last week in office. Then back to home, last minute preparing for CNY. 

Then CNY.  Then over. 

Sigh. The days just passed like that. 

These days, feeling quite down.  Not sure if it was the CNY mood, the work, covering SX, the stress from investing in shares or what.  

Sometimes find life so meaningless.  All these years, I have been working for my family.  Tired.
