No procrastination

Lucky I managed to clean my kitchen today - after pushing it for so many days.  Supposed to be last weekend, then the PH then today.  

So happy to finish cleaning and see it so clean. 

No procrastination.  Things get done.

Since the beginning of August, there has been so many up and down news from work.. 

First it was “what was the big news for CSOs to be announced during IBG Open?” And so, there is going to be career progression vertically and different career pathways horizontally.. I thought it was good news, at least, after so long, there was hope of promotion and pay increment… 

Then the news of WFH-WIO ratio.. that WFH ratio shouldnt be more than 40%.  And so our Boss started looking at our schedule carefully and questioning about our hybrid ratio etc.. And so we were afraid that he might insist and that will mean we have to go back office more frequently which most of us arent willing to…. 

Then have to hear things Boss said about us when he is in angry mood and made us feel unappreciated and unimportant in this team… 

Hence, a series of demoralising news…. 

I hope next week will be better, especially after the meeting, hope to get more clarity etc

Finally bought it today

After the last WIO, I came back home with swollen gums again (not sure if it was the beef, durian that I had at the buffet that night or simply just after-Covid effects)... and it has been a week plus.  

Struggling with swollen gums, headache whilst sleeping these days.  

Tired.  Just 1 simple wish - I just want to have a good sleep. 

Char Kway Teow at 724 AMK

This char kway teow stall at AMK has made its mark.  I remember the first time I ate this, there wasnt any queue… then slowly queue formed.  

This is the first time I came after its renovation and the queue was this long!! 

Queued and waited for more than half an hour.. still as nice.  But my appetite wasnt that good…
