Really, beautiful pictures make my day. Be it is food taken nicely, nice clouds or scenary pictures or whatever pictures that are taken beautifully - nice pictures really make my day.
This Genting trip, although long awaited was not a nice one from the begining. Starting from the car which was squeezy - we have 8 people in total, to the hotel and etc, it was not a nice trip as expected.
The car was tight and squeezy and we could not pack much stuff. Then reached the hotel, the room was small (expected) but with no view (facing the wall and other rooms), room was dark. 姑妈 also couldnt stand the room and all. To make it worse, it was a long walking distance, from the lift to the casino or even shopping area.
Then on the 1st day where my Mum and Aunt wanted to rush to the casino, they couldnt play because they needed to redo their member card and had to take appointment or wake up early between 3am to 8am to walk in to have the member card made / activated. And so, 1st day-they din manage to play. Lucky my Dad card was okay, he just had to update passport, if not he will be so bored…
And so, we woke up early at 4am, queued for 1 hour plus, had the member card activated so that we could play… Really is Malaysia Boleh.
Then 2nd day lunch we ate at Thai restaurant, only to know that they din accept cash upon payment - I almost fainted. I mean I had a credit card activated but I wasnt expecting to use at restaurant… So I questioned the staff, what if I had no credit card but lots of cash to pay?? In the end, they said I have to had exact cash and so, I gave him exactly. OMG! Should have let me know earlier even before seating us right?
Then the Genting Palace (云华宫), shifted to a new place, I thought maybe the food will be the same. But no, in the end, the food was average okay.
Maybe PMS, I have lots of complaints about this trip. Today is just the 3rd day and I am looking forward to going home soon.
Genting - a place which I always go but yet still looking forward everytime. After this trip, I will not stay in First World Hotel anymore but with Genting Palace not the same anymore, seems like nothing to look forward….
