CNY Gathering

I am glad that we managed to meet up every year during CNY.  As we age, friendships are hard to maintain.  We did it and I am proud of it.  

Our topics getting different every time we meet.  From relationships to marriage, from kids to education, now to retirement and medical checkups and nearing 40s. 

Although we hate to admit our age at all times, but from the topics, it somehow reveals our age.  

Blessed new year to all!  Every year meeting up, be it elderly, relatives family and friends, I consider it a blessing to be able to see them every year.  

Its been a tired 3 days of CNY 2018.

My cousins.  My mum’s side.  Cousins plus nephews nieces.  The kids are growing up, year after year.

大年初一。 姑妈的家。

As years go by, I do appreciate my family around me.  No matter how often we meet, or how not often we meet, how more or less we talk.  

我们的姓是 “布”。

今年的情人节。。觉得有一点孤单。

不知不觉，我已经单身了五年。

Feeling down

Feeling down.  Knew that LY got promoted after taking cases for less than 1 year. 

A promotion.  Something that I yearn for after my Dad stopped working and I have to feed the whole family with what I earn, without any savings every month, sometimes eating into my savings..... 

But take on cases?  Something that I need to do in order to get promoted but always fear. 

Wanted to take the paper this year and if I pass, I could say somethings during the appraisal.  But no, in the end, I din take the paper and I din say anything during my appraisal.  So disappointing. 

So disappointed in myself.
