A day out

Went out this morning.  Had to collect my monthly TCM medicine from Louise.  Since we were going to town, Dad wanted to get some stuff from the Chinatown wet market.  

Me.  I wanted to fix my bubble tea crave.  Haven been drinking bubble tea since Long time ago, maybe since Mar?  We went to Maxwell hawker, there is this BBT stall inside the hawker centre.  Woah, there was a queue.  Wasnt a long queue but there were only 2 guys preparing the BBT so it took a while.... 

Hot weather.  Hot morning.  I was sweating in the mask.

This year has indeed been different with the virus.  When we attended BCP and its briefings all these years, we took it as a chance to relax, to earn the off-in-lieu day.  Although we did whatever we were told but never did we expect that it will come to use one day.  

1st time I work from home, 1st time in my 17 years of working life.

Saw the lonely streets.  Saw most of the shops not opened.  

I think of people who lost their job, who currently has no source of income.  

I feel the sweat, feel the hot weather.  

I Think of people who has to work in the hot weather with the masks on.  

When I am at my own house, I Think of people who dont have a cosy and comfortable home or house atmosphere to go back to.

I am back at home now.  Having lunch with the aircon on.  

Be grateful.  Be thankful.  Dont complain.
