back from bangkok.. a second time
i'm back!
finally fulfilled my wish of bringing my parents overseas!
my mum's happy but she's tired from all the shopping. my dad's also tired from taking care of ah boy and he's back to work today. i am feeling okay. we din really walked alot or sleep very late at night.
friday morning. i woke up, feeling nausea. almost couldnt make it for the trip. everybody got ready and waited for mr ys to come fetch us to the airport. well he volunteered, so why not, could save my taxi fare. but then he was late and my parents were getting impatient. as usual, he's always late. then we were on our way to the airport.
my parents. first time checking in. first time taking the plane. my mum was very excited. we had our breakfast and very soon, we were on the plane. well, my dad was feeling okay. my mum was feeling a little pain in her ears. ah boy was telling us that he was scared, but we din know if he's afraid of the noise or he was also feeling pain in his ears...
we reached bangkok. dgua had already reached the airport and was waiting for us. and then, he brought us to a supermarket cos i wanted to buy mineral water and we ate at a chinese restaurant near the supermarket. but dgua was down with cold and cough. so i told him to go home early after driving us to our hotel.
hotel. familiar room. familiar security guard. lol!
went to siam square at night. but we were feeling tired and so we had our dinner and walked for a short while before heading back to the hotel.
sat morning. went to chatuchak. it was damn hot and my parents bought stuff. went back around 12 plus, rested for awhile and we went to MK restaurant for the roasted duck. shopped around Big C and central world plaza. we bought KFC takeaway back to the hotel.
sunday morning. went to platinium cos my mum wanted to shop more. dgua called us, he wanted to bring us for an elephant ride but we were already shopping. he said it was his mother's birthday and so we could have dinner together. well, though it was abit odd but i still agreed. dgua brought us to massage around late afternoon, together with his parents. all the females in one room and males in another room. well, of cos ah boy sticked to me and my mum. but halfway through, ah boy said he was feeling scared, well i dunno if he was afraid of the massagers or what.
and so.. halfway through the massage, he suddenly cried and i had to stop the massage, changed into my clothes and brought him out. well, he was afraid cos he dunno what the "aunties" were doing to me and my mum, lol! he thought they were doing something bad to me and my mum, hahaha!
this boy ah.. very cute, very protective of us. if one of us walked further away from him, he would shout for you and ensure that we were walking close together..
and after the massage, we went to chinatown for dinner. my parents, dgua's parents, dgua's sister. massage and dinner a treat from his parents. wooo, nice right? hahaha..
monday morning. brought my parents to MK restaurant again for last minute roasted duck. my hp low batt and so i din switch on. i calculated and gauge the time roughly that dgua would come and drive us to the airport. but dgua had reached early and was looking for me frantically. he checked with the reception and realised that we had checked out. he even called ys to see if i had contacted him. hahaha, cute right? but he finally got through me. he said he got so worried when he couldnt find me...
he drove us to eat.. and to the airport. even waited for us to check in our luggage and walked us to the gate. and we were on our way back to singapore.
i feel grateful. thanks to dgua for taking such good care of us. for this bkk trip, u form part of my memories. i'll definitely miss you.
